Organize your move.
Begin by packing the out of season items first.
Next start packing the little used equipment and
lastly the everyday items that will be used until the very last minute - soap, towels, toilet articles, facial tissues etc.
Move jewelry, small pieces of high value and pets yourself.
Label boxes properly.  Example: master bedroom, kitchen, living room, den, garage, etc.
